Aesthetic tooth filling
It is a perfect alternative to the traditional amalgam (dark-colored) filling.
In which cases is it necessary/applicable?
- Cavities
- Wear
- Fracture
- Aesthetic needs
- Closing gaps between teeth
- Replacement of amalgam filling
How is it made?
- The old filling and/or cavity are removed, and after shaping the cavity properly, we clean the cavity, apply the appropriate adhesive material, and then insert the filling material in thin layers.
- Each layer is individually cured using a photopolymerization device ("blue light") developed for this purpose.
- Finally, the filling is refined using polishing drills and discs.
